Sage Root Revival Oil

Sometimes the hair and scalp need a little more care before wash day begins.

Sage Root Revival Oil was created as a pre-shampoo treatment to help nourish the scalp, moisturize the hair, and make hair care feel more intentional without making the routine complicated.

It can be used on its own before your regular shampoo and conditioner or as part of a broader Yene routine. The goal is not to saturate the hair with oil, but to give the scalp and hair focused nourishment before cleansing.

Apply a small amount of Sage Root Revival Oil to the scalp and hair and gently massage it in.

For a deeper pre-shampoo treatment, cover the hair with a plastic cap and leave the oil on for a few hours or overnight, then shampoo thoroughly.

For a shorter treatment, cover the hair with a plastic cap and apply gentle heat for about 20 minutes before shampooing.

Start with a small amount and add more only if needed. A little goes a long way, and using too much can leave the hair feeling greasy or allow excess oil to transfer onto your pillowcase.

While researching, she came across scientific work exploring Salvia officinalis as part of an herbal formulation studied in relation to hair loss. That research encouraged her to look more closely at sage and how it could be incorporated into a nourishing botanical oil blend.

She created Sage Root Revival Oil with sage as the signature ingredient, combining it with olive, amla, pumpkin seed, and moringa oils, Vitamin E, and peppermint essential oil.
